Based on the 77 day turn around that Blizzard has been demonstrating on their patch release cycle, 7.3.5 should be dropping into production next Tuesday. With this patch comes the much anticipated content leveling (aka zoneless). BlizzWatch has a great breakdown of the various zones.. from mmo-champion Wit this, a few things are going to be a little harder when the patches drop. That 20 minute run through BT or Karazhan (BC) is going to get a lot longer. Unstead of these dungeons being level 70 content, starting with this patch, they will go to being level 80 level content. While still not a big deal for a max level character, it will mean a slightly longer dungeon run. Farming Transmogrification Outfits While trying to build an interesting Holy Paladin xmog, I found that I had the shoulders from the Judgement Armor recolor set. Playing a tank, gives one a different feels for raiding. As DPS, I could simply jump into the raid with little research and do fairly good. Sure I might die due to a stupid mechanic, but seldom would I die twice. As a tank, I feel I have the responsibility of knowing the fight a little better than simply responding to DBM's alerts. So I feel I need to do some research. I've finally gotten a moment to pull together a few resources and feel almost ready.. I am really not excited about Allied Races . Think about it. Most players play WoW in third person. From this angle, I can see the top of my character's head, their back (or cape), pants and maybe shoes. Why would I care about their face, eyes, or really what color their skin is? The view from the armory is the only time I really see the frontal view of my character. Typical view of character When looking at my character, it's about the animations; the movement fluidity, the run gate, how cool the jump is, and fighting animations. If you can't deal with looking at the backside of your character, there's no point. I guess, ElPlato could have yellow contacts?  So, when I look at the planned allied races, I am not excited. Here we have (yet another) cosmetic model of 6 different in-game classes. Quick skim of the models, and I see mostly eye colors and skin color differences for existing models. A concept idea for blog post. Trying to translate the WoW game into RL. Taking into account that all magic and current character abilities are given *("Magical healing is impossible", prot pally shield is not a boomerang).  To Much Information about Raiding. What a 20 man raid may be like in RL. Instead of just the twenty heroes, each would have an apprentice or squire carrying that extra gear, food and tools for repair gear. After some fights, you will need repairs, not just after a certain resilience level. Plate armor doesn't magically unbend. You could have a crushed chest plate. Not to mention your sword broke? Burnt cloth armor holes? Bathroom breaks. Eat drink urinate. Fighting would be exhausting. Not just when YOU need to go to bed, but you'd need to sleep after a certain number of fights. the more you play the more you'd build up more stamina and could fight longer. Clipping.
