LFR + 1

In this lull time between the end of Cataclysm and the opening of MoP, a number of us are looking into other means to keep the game alive. I've started actively participating in arenas, but I've also signed up on a couple external Looking for Raid sites. These websites allow anyone to setup a raid and invite people to come along, without having to spam Trade channel.

OpenRaid.US - is still in beta, but based on my 'main' character selection, I get a nicely formatted message weekly.

For example:

WowPugs.com - this site has a prettier interface, let's you sign in with your facebook account (if you wish) and even has integration for IRC chat. Only problem I see, no Malfurion - US raids going on (yet!).

I don't know about you, but this could be interesting. A lot of the OpenRaid announcements have been for Achievement runs, or Hunter Legendary runs. If you don't have an active Guild, or simply want to try running older/different content than currently, this (looks) like a great way to find some people to play.
