How About Class Specific Dailies?

Thunder Isle introduced a new daily quest option that allowed you to either do PVE centric dailies (and get valor rewards) or PVP centric dailies (and get honor rewards). In 5.4, we got the proving grounds . This allowed you to practice with your class against NPCs in a non-destructive training arena. Not absolutely helpful, but as a phased area, it allowed the same area be used for multiple purposes. In addition, each person was faced against objectives that met their class they wanted to play. As I am grinding August Celestials rep on my Discipline priest, I am reminded of the pains of questing on a healing spec. Mobs die very slowly. Warbringer scout gave up and walked off  last night before I could kill him. In WoD, I'd like Blizzard to introduce class specific dailies. For example, maybe it could be like an arena battle where you either play as the DPS/Tank or the healer. You may have options, like August Celestials / Jade Serpent location you could heal the defenders o

For DevLoc@AskMrRobot - Restrict to Reputation not showing correctly.

This is for a forum post on the AMR troubleshooting site. Ok, so simple fix for my AMR issue. At the office, I am using Google Chrome for gaming themed sites. To fix the issue, I needed to clear my browser's cache. Click Customize and control Google Chrome  button on address bar. Select History  from the drop down menu. This opens a new History  tab in my browser. Click the Clear Browsing Data... button. Select check box for Empty the Cache  and click Clear Browsing Data  button to finalize. Now the available SPA gear is showing when I check my options..

Origins of Dance

Where is the Raid Browser?

'O' for Friends Tab, hit 'Raid', then Other Raids. Thanks to Heel vs Babyface ... Checked out the UI last night. My first impressions: On several of the raid options, it appeared that you could see people who had groups already formed. When you highlighted one warlock (sporting a leader crown instead of DPS sword), you could see "9 members" on his pop-up. Guessing he needed a tank, as there was a bunch of DPS and heals in the queue.  There are a lot of high-level geared people out there. Both my alts in i524 level gear would be lost in the 530/540s.  I'll have to actually try it out this weekend, when I think I'll get some more game time. Also after I figure out what keeps kicking me out of the game. I think it's a background process, Internet backup , but not absolutely sure right now... :(

Darkmoon Faire = "Night Circus"

I am a fairly avid reader; with my Kindle setup, I try to read about a chapter each morning with coffee and breakfast. My tastes in books range from crime drama (Alex Cross series), to Sci-Fi (Old Man's War) to fantasy. With all my research into the Darkmoon Faire, it is reminding me of a book I read a few years ago, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Per the dust cover: The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des RĂªves, and it is only open at night. Reminds me a lot about the visuals of the Darkmoon Faire, constantly in dusk and always the strange and impossible things going on. In fact, some of the wondrous things in the book would make for great additions to the DMF. Imagine a phased scenario tents that have variety of 'fun' no fighting type events.

This is When the Rep Grind Ensues

It's my own fault. I don't like to quest, so I tend to hop to dungeons and raids as soon as possible. Now that I no longer need to grind rep to get shoulder enchants, I didn't work on any of the end-game rep. Today in a moment of weakness, I peaked over at the " The Big Bag Guide " on Wowhead. Running down the author's list, I was surprised to see that there is a 28 slot bag available to me. All I need is Exalted with the August Celestials and 12 Imperial Silk . Sadly, at this time Elk is Friendly (mostly via the farm) and   Eride , my tailor, is Neutral. Reading through the guide, I see that they have a 4 different quest hubs. Which hub you head to is decided by your factions  quarter master . Each hub appears to provide around 1100 rep (plus another 10% due to guild bonus or 1210).  Here's my plan..  Set both characters to 'champion' the August Celestials for dungeons and scenarios. Sadly, I don't think this works for LFR and I

Transmog Idea

Thinking about transmogrifying these shoulders into these ones!  I liked the little static electricity jumping between the spikes! Heck, might even 'fit' with the 'dandy' outfit he is currently wearing!
